TLC Auto Refinishing are now recruiting for a Fabricator / Weldor

Location: Feltham, TW14 0XJ
Salary: Up to £40,000 per year DOE + £1,000 joining bonus + £100 monthly attendance bonus
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm (1-hour break). Optional Saturdays at overtime rate (time and a half).

About Us:

TLC Auto Refinishing has specialised in high-quality commercial vehicle repairs and custom body builds for over 20 years. From tippers and luton vans to airport support vehicles, our work spans a broad range of commercial vehicle types. We’re known for our innovation, reliability, and commitment to excellence.

The Role

You’ll play a hands-on role in building commercial vehicle bodies from the ground up, working from technical drawings to fit builds to chassis cabs to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and work from technical drawings
• Operate a wide range of power tools and workshop equipment
• Weld steel (aluminium welding is a bonus)
• Work with a variety of materials, including fibreglass, wood, and metal
• Cut, drill, bolt, and fit components to precise specifications
• Collaborate with team members to complete high-quality vehicle body builds
• Fit tail lifts (training provided if needed)
• Identify and resolve quality issues during fabrication

What We’re Looking For:

• Excellent attention to detail
• Dependable, with strong timekeeping
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Good communication and listening skills
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team

Experience in commercial vehicle body building is an advantage, but not essential. If you’re a skilled Fabricator or Welder keen to apply your expertise in this area, we’ll provide the training you need to succeed.
