Dovetail and Slate in Barrow-in-Furness is seeking a Fabrication & Welding Lecturer to deliver practical and theoretical lessons to learners progressing through Level 1 to Level 3 EAL qualifications and Engineering Apprenticeships. You will help students develop knowledge, skills and confidence for the industry.

The role is a full-time permanent position with access to fully funded teacher training and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Fabrication & Welding.
• Recent industry experience within fabrication and welding.
• Passion for developing others and sharing your industry knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Delivering high-quality practical fabrication and welding training.
• Teaching the theoretical knowledge that underpins engineering practice.
• Supporting full-time students and apprentices to achieve their qualifications.
• Assessing learner progress and providing constructive feedback.
• Creating a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and employers to ensure outstanding learner outcomes.
