Job summary

Training 2000, in partnership with Blackburn College, is seeking an Engineering Instructor in Fabrication and Welding at the Furthergate Business Park, Harwood Street, Blackburn. The role involves delivering practical workshops and theory to apprentices, supporting learners to gain qualifications and progress in their careers.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Qualification in Literacy, Numeracy and ICT.
• Level 3 Engineering qualification in a relevant subject area.
• Level 3 Teaching Qualification and Assessor Award, or a willingness to work towards achieving these qualifications.
• Current knowledge of the engineering sector and recent industry experience in Fabrication and Welding.
• Strong communication, planning and organisational skills.
• The ability to motivate, support and inspire learners from diverse backgrounds.
• A commitment to delivering an exceptional learning experience.

Salary Business Support, £30,500 - £32,500 plus up to £3,500 market premium if hold a minimum of a Level 3 Engineering qualification in a relevant subject area alongside relevant industry experience.
