Job summary

Hunter Selection seeks an experienced Fabrication Supervisor in Devon to lead a dynamic manufacturing team. You will oversee daily CNC fabrication operations, ensure quality and on-time delivery, and drive efficiency through proactive maintenance and coaching of junior members.

The role requires hands-on CNC experience, CAD/CAM familiarity, and the ability to coordinate with contractors. Day shifts and a clear progression path are offered in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machinery in a fabrication/manufacturing setting.
• CAD/CAM experience or familiarity.
• Ability to create and implement maintenance schedules.
• Experience supervising a team of operators or engineers.
• Ability to work with external contractors.
• Forklift license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CNC fabrication operations and personnel.
• Program and operate CNC punch, plasma and press brake machines.
• Perform preventative maintenance and fault finding.
• Train and develop junior team members.
• Support wider production and logistics functions.
• Ensure quality, productivity and delivery targets are met.

We're looking for a Fabrication Supervisor to lead a manufacturing team within a fast-paced engineering environment. What we are looking for:

• Good experience operating CNC machinery
• CAD / CAM experience / familiarity
• Prior experience with creating and implementing maintenance schedules.
• Comfortable dealing with external contractors.
• Experience leading or supervising a team.
• Forklift license - Preferred.
