Job summary

Pure Resourcing Solutions is recruiting for a Fabrication Supervisor to lead a busy fabrication operation within a growing manufacturing business in the UK. You will oversee daily fabrication activities, plan workloads, and coordinate with other departments to keep production running smoothly.

You will coach and develop the team, ensure products meet quality specifications, and uphold high health and safety standards while driving performance and efficiency across the fabrication function.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in manufacturing or engineering

We're supporting a growing manufacturing business in their search for a Fabrication Supervisor to lead a busy fabrication operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on supervisor with experience in manufacturing, fabrication, engineering, or production environments who enjoys leading teams, driving performance, and ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency are maintained at all times.

Core Duties:

• Supervising daily fabrication activities to ensure production targets are achieved
• Managing workloads, production schedules, attendance, and resource allocation
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure the smooth flow of work through production
• Providing leadership, coaching, and support to team members
• Ensuring products meet required specifications and quality standards
• Investigating and addressing quality issues, defects, and non-conformances
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives across fabrication processes and working practices
• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and process repeatability
• Promoting and maintaining high standards of health, safety, housekeeping, and 5S
• Communicating effectively with management, colleagues, and production teams to ensure operational objectives are met

About You:

• Previous supervisory, team leader, or people management experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and support a team
• Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities
• Experience within fabrication, mechanical engineering, or a similar production environment would be advantageous
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions
• A proactive approach to continuous improvement and operational excellence
• Strong understanding of health and safety within a production environment
