Job summary

Pure Resourcing Solutions is recruiting for a Fabrication Supervisor to lead a busy fabrication operation within a growing manufacturing business in the UK. You will oversee daily fabrication activities, plan workloads, and coordinate with other departments to keep production running smoothly.

You will coach and develop the team, ensure products meet quality specifications, and uphold high health and safety standards while driving performance and efficiency across the fabrication function.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in manufacturing or engineering
• Strong leadership and team development
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem solving
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Proactive approach to continuous improvement and safety

Responsibilities

• Supervising daily fabrication activities to ensure production targets are achieved
• Managing workloads, production schedules, attendance, and resource allocation
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth workflow through production
• Providing leadership, coaching, and support to team members
• Ensuring products meet required specifications and quality standards
• Investigating and addressing quality issues, defects, and non-conformances
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives across fabrication processes
• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity
• Promoting and maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping
• Communicating effectively with management and production teams to meet objectives
