Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in manufacturing or engineering.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Experience in fabrication or mechanical production environment is advantageous.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Proactive approach to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Strong understanding of health and safety within a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily fabrication activities to meet production targets.
• Manage workloads, production schedules, attendance, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth flow of work through production.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to team members.
• Ensure products meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Investigate and address quality issues, defects, and non-conformances.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across fabrication processes and working practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and process repeatability.
• Promote and maintain high standards of health, safety, housekeeping, and 5S.
• Communicate effectively with management, colleagues, and production teams to ensure objectives are met.
