Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Leeds, UK is seeking a Fabrication Estimator to develop their skills in design, development, fabrication and product assembly services. You will manage sales accounts, maintain clear customer communication, and ensure drawings and specifications are loaded into systems.

You will liaise with suppliers for costings, raise works orders, work with design and estimating teams, manage drawing records, and support SOP creation with production managers, while delivering quality and

Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD or sheet metal fabrication.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Strong IT skills, especially MS Office.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with attention to detail.
• Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication/negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with sheet metal materials (steel, aluminium, stainless) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Process customer enquiries through to quotations and communicate results to customers.
• Manage customer relationships and ensure clear communication.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain costings for quotations.
• Raise works orders for production.
• Collaborate with design, estimating and customer management teams.
• Maintain drawing records/packages on server and production areas.
• Coordinate with production managers to understand build procedures and SOP creation.
• Ensure quality and attention to detail across all tasks.
