Job summary

HVAC Recruitment is seeking a Fabric Technician to join a leading facilities management team working across commercial office buildings in Reading. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance with a focus on fabric, plumbing and general building upkeep.

This permanent position offers a 40-hour week, opportunities for overtime, a company van, 29 days holiday incl. bank holidays, uniform and a solid pension. Travel to sites up to 1.5 hours and an on-call rota are included.

Qualifications

• Experience as Fabric Engineer or Maintenance Engineer with plumbing skills.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Full UK driving licence and reliable work approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across commercial office buildings.
• General fabric and building maintenance and handyman duties.
• Plumbing repairs and maintenance; PPM and reactive maintenance.
