Job summary

CBRE, Inc. is seeking a Fabric Technician to support the Technical Supervisor and Area Operations Manager by delivering reactive and pre-planned maintenance on building fabric and related services across sites in Inverness.

You will follow established procedures and safety practices to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Key duties include performing planned and reactive maintenance, complying with HSE standards, and coordinating with the Projects & Construction team to deliver

Qualifications

• Proven experience in building trades.
• Competence in plastering, joinery, glazing, plumbing and decorating.
• Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
• Ability to lead a small team on fabric projects.
• Awareness of environmental responsibilities and CBRE policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the physical workplace experience across single or multiple customer locations.
• Maintain high HSE standards and secure workplace; control costs and drive service improvements.
• Build and maintain relationships within the customer organization.
• Ensure compliance with processes, procedures, statutory requirements, engineering standards and HSE systems.
• Provide planned and reactive maintenance covering building fabric and plumbing tasks as required.
• Support Projects & Construction team in scoping and delivering uplift/refit projects.
• Carry out risk assessments before work and document findings.
• Record and report risks, losses or defects to management for corrective action.
• Maintain Site Activity Log Books in line with procedures.
• Follow CBRE environmental policy to support company environmental objectives.
