Job summary

CBRE Local UK is seeking a skilled Fabric Technician to join our team on site. You will respond to reactive works, complete maintenance tasks within agreed timescales, and liaise with client representatives on repairs and improvements.

The role requires carpentry experience (City & Guilds/NVQ), a current UK driving license, and a solid understanding of H&S. You will conduct site surveys, prepare method statements and risk assessments, and support planned works and minor projects while working

Qualifications

City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent in carpentry.
Current UK driving license.
Health & Safety qualifications (IOSH/NEBOSH) preferred.
Experience with repairs and maintenance in high-profile environments.
Willing to work overtime if required.

Responsibilities

Respond to reactive works within the team.
Ensure maintenance tasks are completed within agreed timescales.
Liaise with client representatives on maintenance & repair tasks.
Undertake site surveys; produce works requests, method statements & risk assessments.
Repairs to floor and wall coverings; ceiling tile repairs and replacements.
Responsible for other building and installation works as required.
Accountable for lighting, lamp changes, AHU/FCU filters and basic plumbing.
Utilise PDA to complete works and update communications.
Complete reactive, PPM jobs & projects in a timely manner.
Undertake minor project works and ensure safety compliance.
