Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Fabric Technician to join our team at a busy manufacturing site in Barnard Castle. The role covers fabric maintenance, repairs and project delivery, with responsibility for coordinating subcontractors and handling health and safety paperwork.

• Experience delivering refurbishment projects and managing subcontractors.
• Capability to perform fabric maintenance and repairs on industrial sites.
• Familiarity with health and safety paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of refurbishment projects and management of subcontractors.
• Undertake fabric maintenance and repairs across manufacturing site.
• Carpentry, basic plumbing, plastering and decorating tasks.
• Stock management of site consumables.
• Support to office moves team.
• Repairs to building fabric and remedial minor works after PPM.
