Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is recruiting a Fabric Technician to join the team near Salisbury. The role covers reactive and planned maintenance tasks, ensuring work is completed on time, and liaising with client representatives on maintenance and repair activities.

The candidate should have fabric or carpentry experience, a relevant trade qualification, and a current UK driver’s license. PC literacy and strong customer-relationship skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous Fabric, or Carpentry experience.
• Experience of working in critical or life science work environment.
• Current UK driver’s license.
• PC literate.
• Good customer relationship skills.
• Understand and interpret technical drawings/instructions/processes.

Responsibilities

• Respond to reactive & planned maintenance works within defined time frames.
• Ensure maintenance tasks are completed within agreed timescales.
• Liaise with Clients representatives with respect to maintenance & repair tasks.
• Undertake site surveys & produce Works Requests, Method Statements & Risk Assessments for planned works.

Experience Required

• Previous Fabric, or Carpentry experience

• Current UKL driver’s license
• PC literate
• Good Customer relationship skills
• Understand and interpret technical drawings/instructions/processes
• Able to organise self to manage assigned tasks, determine material requirements
• Experience of H & S procedures & requirements. COSHH, Working at Heights, Risk Assessment etc
• Subject to site vetting/security clearance.
