Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Fabric Technician to join the team near Salisbury. You will perform reactive and planned maintenance, including fabric and carpentry tasks, and conduct site surveys.

The role involves liaising with client representatives and preparing Works Requests, Method Statements and risk assessments. You will ensure work is completed safely, on time, and in compliance with Health and Safety at Work regulations, while supporting minor project works and maintenance activities as

Qualifications

• Previous Fabric, or Carpentry experience required.
• PC literacy and ability to use typical software/tools.
• Good customer relationship skills and communication.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions.
• Familiar with COSHH, Working at Heights and Risk Assessments.

Responsibilities

• Respond to reactive and planned maintenance within defined timeframes.
• Complete tasks within agreed timescales and communicate progress.
• Liaise with client representatives regarding maintenance and repairs.
• Undertake site surveys; produce Works Requests, Method Statements and RA.
• Repair floor and wall coverings as required.
• Repair and replace ceiling tiles as needed.
• Carry out other building and installation works as required.
• Close work orders with status updates and key communications.
• Undertake minor project works as assigned.
• Ensure all works comply with Health and Safety regulations.
• Perform reasonable tasks as directed by the manager.
