Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Fabric Technician to join our team near Salisbury. The role involves reactive and planned maintenance, site surveys, and repairs to floors, walls, and ceilings. You will liaise with client representatives and ensure all tasks meet safety and timing requirements.

Ideal candidates have Fabric or Carpentry experience, a relevant trade qualification, and a valid UK driving license. Familiarity with H&S procedures and COSHH is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Fabric or carpentry experience required.
  • Experience in critical or life science environments preferred.
  • UK driving license and PC literacy required.
  • Good customer relationship skills and ability to read technical drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to reactive and planned maintenance within defined timescales.
  • Ensure maintenance tasks are completed on time.
  • Liaise with client representatives about tasks and updates.
  • Undertake site surveys and produce works requests, method statements and risk assessments.
  • Repair floor and wall coverings.
  • Repair ceilings and tiles.
  • Carry out other building and installation works as needed.
  • Complete work orders with status updates to stakeholders.
  • Undertake minor project works.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety at Work regulations.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by manager.
