Belfast City Council is advertising a permanent full-time post for a Working Trades and Services Supervisor (Fabric). The role supervises a direct labour team, coordinates fabric maintenance across council assets, and manages contracted services to ensure quality and compliance.

The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day delivery, interface with colleagues and contractors, and participate in the ongoing improvement of the Property Maintenance operation.

Responsabilités

• Assisting with the day-to-day delivery, co-ordination and monitoring of the fabric maintenance programme for council assets, along with relevant bespoke projects and reactive repairs.
• Organisation, deployment and supervision of the direct labour force within the section.
• Assist in the efficient running of the Property Maintenance operation through liaison with colleagues, building occupiers and contractors.
• Management and monitoring of assigned contracted services for fabric projects.
• Pre- and post-inspection of the work to ensure compliance with work specifications and quality.
