Job summary

Cambridge Maintenance Services Limited is seeking a Foot Mobile Fabric Engineer for London City & West End. You will assist in general building maintenance, repair works, and support to clients across corporate, healthcare, education and retail sectors. A full UK driving licence and basic PC skills are essential.

Hours are 42.5 per week with overtime option. The role requires clear communication with clients and internal teams, and the ability to work well within a team to ensure high standards

Qualifications

• Good communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to coordinate tasks.
• Full UK driving licence required for site travel.
• Basic PC skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Upkeep and tidying of plant rooms and equipment serving modern, high standard office buildings
• Cleaning and painting of equipment, plant and plant room floors
• Chemical cleaning of equipment using high-pressure jet washer
• Delivery of spares to site
• Basic Building Maintenance tasks including meter readings and tap temperature checks
• Communicate with clients, suppliers and staff to maintain relationships and smooth operations
• Organise work and time efficiently within a team
• Submit clear, concise reports of works carried out with recommendations and timesheets
• Liaise with Contracts Managers on job progression

Foot Mobile Fabric Engineer

Job Description:

Assist in providing general building maintenance service and repair works on behalf of Cambridge Maintenance to its client base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Upkeep and tidying of plant rooms and equipment serving modern, high standard office buildings
• Cleaning and painting of equipment, plant and plant room floors
• Chemical cleaning of equipment using high-pressure jet washer
• Delivery of spares to site
• Basic Building Maintenance tasks including meter readings and tap temperature checks
• To regularly and effectively communicate with clients, suppliers and other personnel in order to maintain and develop excellent professional working relationships and ensure smooth operation of the business
• The job holder will be expected to organise their work and time efficiently, and to be work supportively within a team
• Submitting clear, concise and accurate reports of works carried out, with clear recommendations for any further work required
• Submitting weekly accurate timesheets
• Communicating with Contracts Managers on Job progression

Hours of Work:

42.5 hours per week with option of overtime

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Good Communication skills both written and spoken

• Full UK driving license
