Job summary

SER Limited is seeking an experienced Fabric Engineer for a full-time, permanent role covering the Bristol area. You will manage planned and reactive maintenance across commercial sites, ensuring high standards of carpentry, plumbing, and general repairs.

The ideal candidate will hold a full UK driving licence and a level 2 qualification in Carpentry/Joinery, with the ability to work on-call as part of a rota. Bristol-based applicants are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance on commercial sites.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Based within commuting distance to Bristol.
• Level 2 in Carpentry or Joinery.
• Able to perform basic plumbing and painting tasks.
• Willing to join the on-call rota.

Responsibilities

Position: Fabric Engineer

Location: Bristol

Duration: Permanent

Salary: From £32,000 to £36,000 subject to experience level

We are looking for an experienced Fabric Engineer for a full time, permanent position covering the Bristol area.

This Fabric Engineer will be dealing with planned and reactive maintenance throughout commercial sites within the Bristol area.

The right person for this position will already have experience working as a Fabric Engineer on commercial sites. Dealing with carpentry, basic plumbing, floor and ceiling tiles as well as other maintenance duties.

We need this Fabric Engineer to be holding a full UK driving licence as well as a minimum of a level 2 in Carpentry/ Joinery

Requirements

• Strong background dealing with commercial building services maintenance
• Full UK driving licence
• Based in a commutable location to Bristol
• Holding a minimum of a level 2 in Carpentry or Joinery
• Able to deal with basic plumbing, painting etc
• Happy to join the on call rota

Package

• Basic salary based on a 40 hour week
• 21 day holiday plus bank holidays (increasing)Pension
