Mobile Fabric Engineer – Southampton & Surrounding Areas

Location: Southampton + Surrounding Areas
Salary:£30,000- £35,000+ Overtime + Van
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We’re currently recruiting on behalf of a respected client for a Mobile Fabric Engineer to join their team, covering Southampton and surrounding commercial sites. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer looking to work with a well established FM company.

Role Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive works across a portfolio of commercial properties.
• Conduct general fabric maintenance, including but not limited to carpentry, basic plumbing, painting, minor repairs, and other building fabric duties.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service while working independently across various sites.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar building/fabric maintenance role.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Strong fault-finding skills and proactive approach to maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence – this is essential.
