Job summary

Concept Resources is seeking an experienced Fabric Engineer to join our client’s team in Royal Tunbridge Wells on a temporary basis, with strong potential for permanency. You will deliver reactive and planned maintenance tasks within agreed SLAs in a corporate office environment.

Responsibilities include completing reactive and PPM work orders, electrical and general maintenance, basic plumbing, and using a PDA/CAFM system to log tasks. Health & safety compliance is essential.

About the Role

My client a major FM business is seeking an experienced Fabric Engineer to join our team on a temporary basis, with strong potential for a permanent position.

This role is based within a large, client-facing corporate office environment. You will be responsible for delivering both reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks within agreed SLAs, ensuring high standards of service delivery and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Complete reactive and PPM work orders within SLA

Carry out minor electrical works and general building maintenance

Basic plumbing tasks (e.g., unblocking toilets)

Painting and general fabric maintenance

Supervise and sign in subcontractors on site

Use a company-issued PDA and internal CAFM system to manage tasks

Submit completed PPM documentation to the Technical Supervisor for system upload

Ensure full compliance with QHSE policies, site inductions, and PPE requirements

Maintain a professional and client-focused approach at all times

Experience in commercial building maintenance

Ability to complete both electrical and general maintenance tasks

Experience working within a client-facing environment

Strong understanding of health & safety compliance

Ability to work independently and manage workload via CAFM systems
