Fabric Engineer - Broadgate in London is seeking an experienced maintenance professional to carry out planned and reactive fabric upkeep at a prestigious site on Broadgate.

The role requires hands-on skills in general building fabric, adherence to health and safety procedures, and the ability to work independently or with a team. Working pattern is Monday–Friday with specific early/late shifts. Salary is £40,000 per annum.

Fabric Engineer - Broadgate

Location: Broadgate, London

Shift Times: 07:00-16:00 and 10:00-19:00

The Role

We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Fabric Engineer to join our team at a prestigious site in Broadgate, London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive fabric maintenance, ensuring the building and its facilities are maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks.


• Undertake general fabric repairs and maintenance across the site.


• Identify and report defects, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.


• Complete maintenance tasks to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety procedures.


• Assist with a range of building fabric works, including basic carpentry, plumbing, decorating and general repairs.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working as a Fabric Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or in a similar building maintenance role.

• Good communication and organisational skills.


• A proactive approach to identifying and resolving maintenance issues.


• Strong commitment to health and safety.


• Relevant trade qualifications or experience would be advantageous.
