Fabric Engineer – Static Site| £32,000 | Mon–Fri 8am–5pm

Location: Guildford
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: £32,000 per annum

Type: Permanent | Static Role (Single-Site)
We are currently recruitingfor a skilled Fabric Engineer to be based on a high-profile site in Guildford. This is a fantastic static opportunity for someone with a strong background in painting, decorating, and general building maintenance.

Role Overview: As a Fabric Engineer, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the internal and external presentation of the building is maintained to a high standard. Your day-to-day will include a variety of fabric maintenance tasks, with a strong emphasis on painting and finishing work.

Key Duties:

• Internal and external painting and decorating
• Basic carpentry and general fabric repairs
• Planned and reactive maintenance tasks
• Supporting site compliance with health and safety
• Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of plant and working areas

Ideal Candidate:

• Background in painting, decorating, and general building maintenance
• Previous experience in a facilities, FM, or property maintenance role
• Good understanding of health and safety standards
• Able to work independently and as part of a wider site team
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering a high standard of work
