Fabric Admin Assistant Job Description

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Fabric Admin Assistant to join us on a 6-month fixed term contract. This role involves assisting the fabric team with various administrative tasks.

You will work closely with the Head of Fabric and Fabric Coordinator to ensure the timely development of fabrics for our seasonal collections. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Fabric Coordination: Assisting with fabric mill appointments and visits as needed.
  2. Supplier Relationships: Contacting fabric mills for sample availability and pricing, and building strong relationships with key mills.
  3. Sourcing Requests: Sending and processing sourcing requests.
  4. Fabric Library Maintenance: Updating the in-house fabric and trim library.
  5. Research and Support: Assisting with research and preparation for fabric trend boards, reports, and department posts.
About You

We are seeking someone with excellent administrative skills, attention to detail, and an interest in fabrics and textiles. The ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment is essential.
