Job summary

Alpine Racing UK is seeking a Control Systems placement student for a 1-year role in Enstone. You will assist in developing and validating control software and hardware, working with software engineers, electronics designers, and vehicle performance teams to ensure reliability and regulatory compliance.

The role offers exposure to HIL testing, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration, with a competitive salary and access to onsite facilities.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical, Electronic, Automotive, Mechatronics, or Motorsport Engineering and seeking an industry placement in your penultimate year.
• Strong understanding of control theory and embedded systems, plus vehicle dynamics.
• Experience with programming languages and familiarity with automotive control systems and data acquisition tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and validation of control algorithms and software.
• Support hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and calibration activities.
• Maintain documentation and configuration of control systems.
• Contribute to fault diagnosis and performance optimisation.
