Job summary

The Cadillac Formula 1® Team is seeking a skilled engineer to contribute to the design of composite components and tooling at our Silverstone facility. You will develop layouts, CAD models, and manufacturing data while collaborating with manufacturing partners to ensure precise implementation of specifications.

Key requirements include extensive Formula 1 or top-tier motorsport experience, CATIA 3DX proficiency, and a degree in Engineering.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in Formula 1 or top-tier motorsport is essential.
• Proficient in CATIA 3DX.
• Knowledge of composite design and materials.
• Strong communication and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop layouts and schemes for composite assemblies, ensuring optimal design and functionality.
• Create detailed CAD models and drawings of composite components.
• Creation of CAD models and drawings of composite tooling.
• Prepare comprehensive manufacturing information for composite production processes, including materials, techniques, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with manufacturers to ensure effective communication and implementation of design specifications.
• Provide guidance and supervision to Graduate Designers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality work.
