Tiro Associates Ltd is supporting a leading Formula 1 team to recruit a Senior Composite Design Engineer. You will design and develop high‑performance composite components and take projects from initial concept through manufacture, build, testing and race application.

In a fast‑paced motorsport environment you will own challenging programmes, mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement through innovative composite solutions that push performance on the track.

Qualifications

• Strong composite design experience in F1, motorsport, aerospace or high-performance environments.
• Understanding of composite materials and manufacturing technologies.
• Proven ability to own complex engineering projects.
• Ability to lead design reviews and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of projects, from concept to race application.
• Develop designs balancing structural, packaging, aerodynamic and manufacturing considerations.
• Conduct design reviews independently and with stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide less experienced composite design engineers.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovative solutions.
