Mercure & ibis London Earls Court and Barnaby’s Restaurant & Bar is seeking an enthusiastic Food & Beverage team member for full-time hours. You will welcome guests, serve cocktails and coffees, and ensure high standards of grooming and service are maintained.

Strong English communication is essential, with a focus on guest satisfaction and promoting hotel facilities. The role offers a vibrant environment in a newly branded 12-storey hotel undergoing refurbishment, with benefits including staff

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
• Fluent English communication is required (spoken and written).
• Ability to prepare and serve cocktails and coffees and explain products.

Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

Department: Food and Beverage

Salary: £14.85/hr

Full-time

Main Responsibilities

• Welcoming the guests to our new F&B outlets & providing efficient, friendly, and professional service
• Conveying the hotel's image through his/her attitude, professionalism and excellent grooming standards
• Communicating proficiently in English (spoken and written) with guests
• Preparing and serving a wide range of cocktails and coffees
• Good knowledge of our products
• Take responsibility for your designated section and station
• Ensuring that the F&B area remains well stocked at all times
• Receiving and processing customers’ payments
• Making sure ingredient labels are visible in all stations
• Maintaining hygienic food service techniques during service
• Cleaning and sanitizing tables
• Taking a positive problem-solving approach to guest problems and concerns
• Actively selling and promoting hotel facilities and services
