Job summary

Mercure & ibis London Earls Court and Barnaby’s Restaurant & Bar is seeking a full-time Front of House team member to warmly welcome guests and take drink and snack orders. You will showcase outstanding customer service and help guests enjoy a memorable experience during shifts that include weekends.

Responsibilities include greeting guests at our F&B outlets, serving cocktails and coffees, handling payments, keeping the area stocked, maintaining hygiene, and promoting hotel facilities.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and guest focus.
• Proficient English communication (spoken and written).
• Wamiliar with F&B service standards and POS usage.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests to new F&B outlets and provide friendly, professional service.

Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

Department: Food and Beverage

Salary: £14.85/hr

Full-time

Providing a warm welcome to guests and taking hot beverage orders and snacks will be at the heart of what you do. You will use your excellent customer service skills to give guests an experience that they are sure to remember! This is a full-time position (weekends included)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcoming the guests to our new F&B outlets & providing efficient, friendly, and professional service
• Conveying the hotel's image through his/her attitude, professionalism and excellent grooming standards
• Communicating proficiently in English (spoken and written) with guests
• Preparing and serving a wide range of cocktails and coffees
• Good knowledge of our products
• Take responsibility for your designated section and station
• Ensuring that the F&B area remains well stocked at all times
• Receiving and processing customers’ payments
• Making sure ingredient labels are visible in all stations
• Maintaining hygienic food service techniques during service
• Cleaning and sanitizing tables
• Taking a positive problem-solving approach to guest problems and concerns
• Actively selling and promoting hotel facilities and services
