Job summary

The Winchester Hotel & Spa is seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor to support the leadership team and ensure guest satisfaction. This permanent, full-time role (40 hours per week) is based in Winchester.

You will deputise for the Food & Beverage Manager, lead the team, manage breakfast service, ensure that all tables are ready and orders are served promptly, maintain high hygiene standards, and deliver excellent guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Truly passionate about the Hospitality Industry.
• Previous supervisory experience in a busy environment is preferred.
• Excellent personal presentation.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• Ability to function independently with a minimum of supervision.
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to communicate verbally and in writing ;
• To be an enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• You will deputise for the Food & Beverage Manager in their absence. You will be required to play a vital role in leading and developing the team.
• Supervising, encouraging and developing the food and beverage team.
• To ensure all service standards are maintained throughout the breakfast operation.
• Ensuring that all tables are set and ready for welcoming guests at all times.
• Ensuring that all guests’ orders are taken and executed in a timely manner.
• Having good knowledge of the food and beverage menu.
• Responding to guests’ queries on the menu selection.
