Job summary

Mount Royal Hotel Edinburgh by the Unlimited Collection is seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor to lead the team and deliver service excellence. You will support the F&B Manager in training, guest engagement and live service delivery across the department.

The role requires strong customer service, organisational skills, and effective communication to anticipate guest needs and maintain high standards. A collaborative, guest-focused approach is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Excellent guest engagement skills.
• Previous hospitality experience.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
• Previous experience handling customer requests and complaints.
• Well organised, outgoing and service minded.
• The ability to communicate and organise yourself in line with different guest expectations.
• A good command of English is essential, a second language is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in building a team through leadership.
• Train and develop employees, inductions, monthly department meetings.
• Be courteous and give guests memorable service with product knowledge.
• Ensure daily task lists are completed effectively.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver captivating experiences.
• Take initiative to accommodate guest needs in a resourceful manner.
• Train and coach to achieve service standards and product delivery.
• Deal with guest complaints by following correct procedures.
• Positively promote sales awareness within the department.
