Job summary

Warner Hotels in Herefordshire is seeking a strategic Head of Food and Beverage to lead multi‑outlet operations across the hotel’s restaurants and bars. You will drive guest experiences, optimise labor and costs, and partner with the Executive Chef and F&B Managers to deliver outstanding service.

Role requires strong commercial acumen, team leadership, and a data‑driven approach to decision making, with responsibility for compliance and daily operational delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in multi-outlet F&B operations and cost control.
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and drive guest service standards.
• Commercial know-how in revenue delivery and upselling.
• Thorough understanding of compliance across food safety, licensing, and health & safety.
• Strong ability to use data to inform local decisions.
• Proficiency with EPOS, stock control, rostering systems, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across restaurants, bars, and outlets with strong leadership.
• Execute Head Office menus, promotions, and revenue-driving initiatives locally.
• Own P&L delivery, control labour, waste, stock, and report performance.
• Create efficient rotas and manage labour spend to meet service standards.
• Champion service excellence and coach teams to deliver memorable guest experiences.
• Recruit, train, and performance-manage the F&B team with engagement in mind.
• Ensure 100% compliance with food safety, health and safety, and licensing.
• Collaborate with Sales, Events, HR, and Procurement teams as needed.
• Identify efficiencies and pilot improvements within Head Office guidelines.
• Operate within approved financial and procurement processes.
