Job summary

The Trafalgar St. James London, Curio Collection by Hilton, is seeking a friendly F&B Host to warmly welcome guests, seat them promptly, and support a smooth dining experience. You will coordinate with the restaurant team to maximise occupancy and revenue while delivering memorable, high-quality service.

We value attitude, hospitality mindset, and the ability to stay calm under pressure; prior experience is welcome but not essential. Applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

What your day will look like?

As a F&B Host, you will be one of the first points of contact for our guests, creating a warm, welcoming and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. You will ensure that guests are welcomed and seated efficiently and that reservations are managed effectively to maximise occupancy and revenue.

You will work closely with the restaurant team and Managers to ensure excellent communication and service at all times, keeping the team informed of daily priorities, VIP arrivals and any guest requirements. You will confidently handle guest feedback and resolve issues in a professional and positive manner, always looking for ways to exceed expectations.

You will have a strong knowledge of our menu, hotel facilities and local area, using this knowledge to make recommendations and identify opportunities to upsell and maximise revenue. You will also lead by example and promote a positive, can-do attitude. Above all, you will help create a welcoming environment where both our guests and team feel valued.

Experience within a similar environment is preferable, however we look for attitude, commitment and interpersonal skills rather than experience as we will give you the tools to ensure you are successful in your role.
