Job summary

Singapore Recreation Club in Penarth is seeking an experienced hospitality supervisor to welcome members, take orders, and supervise service during meals.

You will lead junior staff, manage guest seating and VIP service, and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety policies while delivering outstanding dining experiences.

Strong leadership, multitasking, and excellent communication are essential to maintain smooth service across peak periods and special events.

Qualifications

• Professional certification in culinary arts.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience with Food and Hygiene Certification.
• Strong leadership and customer service orientation.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Report for duty punctually in clean uniform.
• Understand and use POS system proficiently.
• Follow supervisor’s instruction and assist in club regulations.
• Lead junior staff, supervise floor during meals and ensure smooth delivery to tables.
• Provide VIP service and hostess/usher guests to appointed tables.
• Suggestive selling when taking food and beverage orders.
• Handle guest complaints and relay feedback to management.
• Attend trainings and comply with safety and hygiene policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management.
