Job summary

National Trust is seeking a Food and Beverage Assistant Manager at Hidcote Manor Garden, Chipping Campden. You will work with the Food and Beverage Manager to ensure high standards in all outlets, and you will help recruit, train and develop the team while driving sales and maintaining excellent visitor experiences.

You’ll lead with a customer-first approach, manage budgets and resources, and ensure health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering outstanding customer service in a similar environment.
• Proven leadership of teams and ability to set objectives and give feedback.
• Experience with budgets to increase income and control costs (stock and waste).
• Excellent communication skills with colleagues and visitors.
• Awareness of health and safety compliance and food safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with overseeing the entire Food and Beverage operation to maintain high standards.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members.
• Manage resources to drive sales, monitor costs and maximise customer service.
