Job summary

Hotel Indigo Newcastle is seeking a friendly Front of House Team Member to join our Restaurant & Bar team. You will welcome guests, take orders, serve a range of beverages and meals, and help maintain brand standards across the dining area.

In this role you will build knowledge of menus, promotions, and health and safety regulations while supporting colleagues and ensuring smooth service from start to finish for hotel guests and visitors alike.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve food, wines, cocktails, and other beverages to a high standard.
• Maintain excellent knowledge of menus, specials, and promotions.
• Ensure restaurant and bar areas are clean, organised, and presented to brand standards.
• Handle guest enquiries, requests, and complaints professionally.
• Process payments and operate the point-of-sale system accurately.
• Assist with restaurant setup, service, and closing procedures.
• Support colleagues across the food and beverage operation when required.
• Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations.
