Job summary

Hotel Indigo Newcastle is seeking a friendly Front of House Team Member to join the Restaurant & Bar. You will welcome guests, take orders, serve food and drinks, and help maintain brand standards across the dining areas.

In this fast-paced hospitality role, you will handle guest inquiries, assist with service, and work with colleagues to ensure top-notch guest experiences. Training and staff benefits apply, including on-site facilities access.

• Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve food, wines, cocktails, and other beverages to a high standard.
• Maintain excellent knowledge of menus, specials, and promotions.
• Ensure restaurant and bar areas are clean, organised, and presented to brand standards.
• Handle guest enquiries, requests, and complaints professionally.
• Process payments and operate the point-of-sale system accurately.
• Assist with restaurant setup, service, and closing procedures.
• Support colleagues across the food and beverage operation when required.
• Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations.
