Protocol Education is seeking a passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a friendly Watford primary school from January 2027. You will support Nursery/Reception learners, assist teachers with engaging EYFS activities, and help foster a safe, inclusive classroom culture that promotes social, emotional, and academic development.

The role involves small-group and 1:1 support, monitoring progress, and contributing to a positive early years environment within a well-resourced setting.

Qualifications

Protocol Education is delighted to be working with a friendly and nurturing primary school in Watford that is seeking a passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team from January 2027.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is committed to supporting young children during the crucial early stages of their education. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping pupils develop socially, emotionally, and academically within a stimulating and supportive learning environment.

The Role

• Supporting children in Nursery or Reception with their learning and development.
• Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative EYFS activities.

• Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Understands the importance of safeguarding and child development.
