Job title: Teaching Assistant

Salary: NJC Grade 3 £24,796-£25,185 ( pro rata £18,764 - £19,059)

Hours: 32.5 hours per week term time (plus Inset days)

Contract type: Temporary

Reporting to: The Headteacher and Governing Body

Closing date: Thursday 15th October

Interview date: Thursday 22nd October

Required from: Monday 14th December

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Slindon Church of England Primary School. We are looking to employ a Teaching Assistant to work with staff as part of a professional team to support teaching and learning. We are particularly looking for someone with a passion for supporting children in EYFS and KS1, and enabling them to thrive in our school environment.

This is a temporary post until July 2027.

Hours are 8.30am-15:30pm, Monday to Friday, to include playtime supervision.

We are a small, rural primary school nestled in the South Downs National Park, set within the National Trust village of Slindon, near Arundel. We are a Church of England School and are proud of our Christian Distinctiveness, having strong links with both St Mary’s Church in Slindon and with the wider community.
