Job summary

Vision for Education is seeking a full-time EYFS Teaching Assistant in the Norton area to support a Reception hub and provide targeted interventions alongside general TA duties. The role runs September 2026 to April 2027, with potential for permanency depending on school needs.

Hours are 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with salary dependent on experience. A Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning is required; EYFS and SEND experience are desirable.

Qualifications

• Hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching & learning in schools.
• EYFS experience would be desirable
• Experience as a Teaching Assistant in a school environment.
• Experience supporting smaller nurture groups to boost attainment.
• Desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
• Experience supporting children in primary education in Early Years.

Responsibilities

• Support a small group of reception children with interventions as well as general TA duties.
• Be flexible to changing environments and work within small intervention groups.
• Provide high standard of support as part of a passionate teaching team.
