Job summary

Desian Education is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join an EYFS team in Chester, supporting pupils in Pre-School and Reception. You will help create a nurturing learning environment, delivering phonics using Read Write Inc and tracking progress with teachers.

Qualifications

• Experience in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) required.
• Ability to plan and deliver phonics interventions using RWI.
• Demonstrated ability to support children's development across learning and social skills.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across Pre-School and Reception.
• Plan and deliver phonics interventions using Read Write Inc. (RWI).
• Use learning through play to promote social, emotional and developmental skills.
• Implement positive behaviour strategies and Now & Next approaches.
• Support pupils to develop confidence, communication and independence.
• Track pupil progress through learning journeys.
• Record key developmental milestones and collaborate with teachers to meet needs.
