Job summary

The Crossways Schools in Thornbury are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join the EYFS team. The role supports both whole class teaching and individual pupils, including those with SEND.

The post requires an NVQ level 2 equivalent TA qualification and strong literacy/numeracy, plus the ability to provide accurate feedback to teachers. This is a fixed term, part-time position for 12 hours 30 minutes per week during term time, with a start ASAP and an end date of 31 August 2027.

Qualifications

• Recognised Teaching Assistant qualification (NVQ level 2 equivalent).
• Experience working with children in school settings, including those with SEND.
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills and ability to communicate with pupils.
