New Directions Education is seeking qualified Teaching Assistants to support EYFS and primary settings across Ellesmere Port, with September 2026 starts and ongoing opportunities. Qualifications

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years or Supporting Teaching and Learning.
Previous experience working within an EYFS or Early Years setting.
A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for supporting young children’s development.
Ability to build positive relationships with children and staff.

Responsibilities

Supporting children across EYFS, including Nursery and Reception.
Working alongside the class teacher to support learning and development.
Supporting play-based and child-led learning.
Providing individual and small-group support where required.
Encouraging children’s communication, social and emotional development.
Helping to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
