Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is placing EYFS Teaching Assistants in primary schools across Harrow on an immediate and ongoing basis. Roles are available in Nursery and Reception classes, full-time or part-time.

You will support the class teacher in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum through play-based and adult-led activities. This includes supporting children's communication and language, personal, social and emotional development, early phonics and mathematics.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in the EYFS (ages 3-5).
• Knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework and Development Matters.
• Warm, nurturing, and patient approach with young children.
• Ability to support early phonics, communication and social development.

Responsibilities

• Support the EYFS curriculum through play-based and adult-led activities.
• Maintain a stimulating and well-organised learning environment.
• Contribute to observations and learning journeys.
• Support children with additional needs and assist with daily care routines as appropriate to the age group.
