Job summary

Milk Education are recruiting for an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Reception team in Richmond from September. You will support the class teacher with daily activities, work with children individually and in small groups, and help with phonics, early reading and maths.

The role offers flexible days, competitive daily pay of £100-£120, and a friendly school environment where you can develop your understanding of Early Years.

Qualifications

• Previous EYFS or primary school experience is desirable.
• Nursery experience would also be considered.
• Good understanding of Early Years development.
• Warm, patient and nurturing approach.
• Creative and enthusiastic.
• Confident working with young children.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher with daily EYFS activities.
• Work with children individually and in small groups.
• Support phonics, early reading and Maths activities.
• Encourage communication and language development.
• Help children develop independence through classroom routines.
