Job summary

Milk Education is seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Golborne (WA3) on a long-term, full-time basis starting immediately. The role runs 08:30–15:30 with a 30-minute lunch break and supports the EYFS setting across daily activities.

Applicants should have recent school experience, solid numeracy and literacy skills, and Level 2/3 in childcare or equivalent. APSCo standards and a flexible, team-focused approach are valued.

Qualifications

• Recent experience working in a school or education setting.
• Solid numeracy and literacy skills.
• A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education or similar — or equivalent hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Supports across the EYFS setting and responds to children’s individual needs.
• Helps deliver catch-up sessions to close learning gaps.
• Works with the class teacher on lesson planning and resource adaptation.
• Promotes an inclusive classroom where every student belongs.
