Job summary

Rushden Primary Academy is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our Reception team. This term-time role primarily supports learning in the Reception provision and, where needed, across our SEND provision to ensure every child feels successful and valued.

You will embrace inclusion, bring energy and creativity to play-based learning, and work effectively as part of a supportive staff team committed to continuous improvement and high expectations for all children.

Qualifications

• Holds a relevant Early Years or Childcare qualification. (Preferable)
• Has experience working with young children. (Preferable)
• Has experience of, or a genuine interest in, supporting children with SEND.
• Has high expectations for all children.
• Brings drive, passion and enthusiasm to their role.
• Works effectively as part of a team.
• Shares our ambition to become an exceptional school.

Responsibilities

• This role will primarily support learning within our Reception provision.
• You will also support children with SEND across our Reception classes, in classrooms and specialist provision.
• Embrace inclusion and meeting individual needs as part of excellent teaching and learning.
