Job summary

Monarch Education in the United Kingdom is recruiting an Early Years Practitioner / EYFS Teaching Assistant for a welcoming school in Halesowen. You will support learning in the EYFS, helping children explore and develop in a safe, nurturing environment.

Working alongside the class teacher and EYFS team, you will deliver play-based activities, monitor progress, and support safeguarding while building positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare.
• Experience in EYFS or nursery setting.
• Warm, patient and nurturing approach; strong EYFS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning and delivery of EYFS activities.
• Promote development across social, emotional, physical and cognitive domains.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support.
• Observe and contribute to tracking children’s progress.
• Support personal care routines where appropriate.
• Follow safeguarding, welfare and health & safety procedures.
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
