Job summary

Monarch Education is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming EYFS team at a Nursery School in Solihull. You will support children across Nursery provision, helping to deliver high-quality early years education in a nurturing environment.

Term-time only, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, starting ASAP and continuing at least until Easter 2027. The role offers ongoing support and opportunities to develop in early years education.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Qualification in Childcare / Early Years (Essential)
• Experience supporting children in an early years setting
• Strong understanding of EYFS development and early learning
• Ability to support learning through play and structured activities
• Good communication skills and a patient, nurturing approach

Job description

Monarch Education are currently working with a supportive and welcoming Primary school in the Solihull area, who are seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their EYFS team. This is a term‑time‑only role working Monday to Friday supporting children within a nurturing and engaging early years environment. This role is starting ASAP and is until at least Easter 2027.

The successful candidate will be supporting children across Nursery-aged provision, helping to deliver high-quality early years education and care.

Essential Criteria

To be considered, you must have:

• Level 3 Qualification in Childcare / Early Years
