Job description

ABC Teachers are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant with a Level 3 qualification or higher in childcare or as a teaching assistant to work on a full-time basis as an EYFS Teaching Assistant in the Telford area to start in September 2025.

The role

This role will include:

1. Working full time from 08:30-15:30.
2. Supporting pupils and teachers in the EYFS department of the school within their Early Years setting.
3. Starting at the beginning of the academic year and spanning the entire Autumn term, with potential for permanence after the supply contract.

The school

Located in the Nursery classroom of an outstanding school in central Telford, with a warm and welcoming staff team.

Requirements

To be considered for the EYFS Teaching Assistant position, you will:

1. Have experience with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework in a school or nursery and a strong understanding of it.
2. Be passionate and a committed team member.
3. Hold a Level 3 qualification in education or early years.
4. Be able to provide references from relevant roles within the last 2 years.
5. Be able to obtain a DBS registered with the update service.
