The Governing Body of St. Thomas of Canterbury Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work in Early Years

28.75 hours per week, term-time only

£18266 - £22181

This is a permanent position commencing September 2025

  • For this role specifically, candidates must (non-exhaustive list): be able to support the delivery of the EYFS curriculum; have a good understanding of child development; have excellent numeracy and literacy skills; demonstrate a high level of speech and language; be able to liaise with parents/carers, where necessary; work with the teacher to establish an appropriate learning environment; implement agreed learning activities; be flexible enough to work around the school, including covering classes if needed, and support other staff members from around the school where necessary including trips & events; implement agreed learning activities/teaching programmes, adjusting activities according to pupil responses/needs help pupils to access learning activities through specialist support.
